PAHAR to conduct trek expedition done by British Surveyors in 1808

A group of PAHAR members has done the preliminary tour of the route followed by the British Surveyors in 1808. The group members were Shekhar Pathak, Dan Jantzen, S.S. Pangtey and Girish Tewari Girda. They traveled from Hardwar, Dehradun, New Tehri, Chinyali Saur, Dunda, Uttarkashi, Bhatwari, Gangotri route, Dayara Bugyal, Chandravadani, Devprayag, Shrinagar, Rudra Prayag and Karn Prayag.

The rest of the tour will be done in June 2008.
